OKay thiis is startin to bug me. I have the 2004-07-17 verson of xbmc, I tried different skins including project mayhem 2 which did not work, I see X link kai under programs but It is still not listed under settings so i can't sign in, any help? I wanna get on this thing.

Well if you would have read the news on the main page of this site you would find all of the information you need.
First your XBMC is WAY out of date so you need to get the latest build, read the main page of the site and here is the link to get it all working.
