Assuming you have your Wifi Max adapter correctly installed, these are the steps you need to follow split into PSP and P/C actions, in order to play Dissidia Final Fantasy online with Xlink Kai.

PSP

1) Load up Dissidia and enter the online lobby as shown:

P/C

2) Load Xlink Kai and goto the appropriate arena:

**NOTE** At this point, your Kai Engine SSID should change:

3) Now open up your ZDWlan Utility.

4) Hit the 'Refresh' tab on the ZDWlan Utility. It will now find the new SSID in the small white window just above the refresh tab.

5) Next, double-click that SSID (shown in blue on the screenshot) and it will set the lobby SSID (circled in red on the screenshot).

You should now start to see people appearing in the online lobby:

To Play.

7) Select the user in the online lobby you want to play and select 'O' on their name and then 'O' again on 'YES'.

You will then see the following screen. Get ready to go back to your P/C and open ZDWlan Utility once again!

This is the crucial part!!

8) After a couple of seconds, both players need to hit the 'refresh' tab. (This may vary from user to user. Some say you should refresh straightaway so you get another chance to refresh if needed, others wait for 7 - 8 seconds to refresh).

Either way, ZDWlan will find a new SSID as will the Kai engine:

9) Double-click the new SSID found by ZDWlan so that it connects to it.

(Again, ZDWlan will now show the new SSID)

PSP

10) All being well after a few seconds, you should now be presented with the 'Character Select' screens.

If it didn't work, the chances are yours or the hosts timing was off and you will return to the lobby (where you'll have to change your SSID to that of the lobby once again to find players), where you can try again.

It may take a couple of attempts to work, so just experiment with the timing a little and you'll get there in the end!

Good luck :)
