system assertion failure!!!

it keeps coming up with KAI UI - System assertion failure - DANGER WILL ROBINSON and told me to post it on here if i get it constantly coming up!!
it also pops a window up saying PRESENT FAILURE...... and just got an illegal oporation window!!

its pretty messy, what the fcuk is going on???

im runnin kai on an old ibm thinkpad laptop with 98se, iv done the resource leak patch thing...

What were you doing when the window came up? TD's collecting the information on these so that they can be fixed Smile

it was just sitting there idle and had nothing else running, i had the chat window open and was in main xbox arena i think?

Message told me to post if it keeps happening. I get the same problem as mazza, did the updates, even reinstalled kai and updated. Kai pops up with System Assertion Failure... Danger Will Robinson ...as well as that annoying error message PRESENT FAILURE which never closes. Kai freezes up but I still have the capability to play on system link, just can't message on Kai or do anything with it. I'm running aim and my symantec firewalls and antivirus.
