Aright Crunch, here´s one for ya.
I´m installing Ubuntu, LiveCD
everything checks out, until I get to the hdd partition part, I have little more than 50% of my hdd free (58 out of 120)
step 4
I choose the first option
and it says I dont have enough space
is there something I´m doing wrong? |

Your saying that when your in windows it says 50% free? Yeah, 50% free on the windows partition. Linux cannon be installed inside the windows partition.
In the partition managed in ubuntu setup does it have a windows partition taking up 100% of the drive? If so you need to re size the partition to have free space (non partitioned space), then you can install ubuntu onto that free UNPARTITIONED space.
Use google for stuff like this... or even better, the ubuntu forums. |

Did you... well, create a partition in the space? Without creating a partition it can't install. |
