If they build it how long would it be till its full and Japan is over crowded again. Its a concept that will prove to be challenging to the engineers that would construct it and probe challenging to the designers who have to account for wind, cyclones, storms and most important greenhouse gases. A building on this scale would have to have some radical plan to save greenhouse gas emissions otherwise its a 2/3rds of a while greenhouse gas stick.
There concept is radical but i think its stupid and will do more harm then good to the planet and its inhabitants. I say it will never stand because its not safe enough to be built that high in the sky |

Well legend if you look at the design closely, you'd notice that there are many floors with a lot of plant life on each of them. Trees make oxygen. Trees absorb CO2. Weird I know...

(you're fucking right I googled that shit)
There are many ways to deal with greehouse gas emmissions. With the engineering and design features that would be integrated into this building, there migth not be any. Now saying that might be a bit extreme but its the Japanese. They know how to engineer shit to its finest.
Confining a large population into a small area doesn't have to mean that its destructive for the environment. Its no different than spreading it out over a large area, which that country does not have.
As for storms, we have materials that can easily withstand high winds and the torrential storms that occur in that region. |

That would be bad news when another earth quake hit or other natural disasters. It would be really awesome. |
