My home computer is connected to our wireless internet using a Belkin adapter (one which I think is listed as compatible), but, if I've read right, I'd need a Planex adapter anyway, because this guide says "You cannot connect to the internet using the same WIFI card/usb", so I'd have to use my Belkin adapter to keep connected to the internet, and use the Planex so I can use X-link kai for my PSP. Is this workable - can you even use two adapters at once? Or will xlink kai only work, if you're using a computer with a wired connection? Thanks. |

First off the PC thats running XLink can NOT be running on all wireless. It needs to be wired to the connection source. Secondly NO you cannot use the same wifi card for both the internet and PSP as they will cancel one another out. But as i said above that wont work anyway.
Currently Planex Adapters are the top of the line adapters for online PSP gaming on XLink so i would recommend looking into getting once since there cheap and easy to setup from feedback ive seen around. |

I'd be using two, wouldn't I? I'd be using the Belkin adapter to receive the internet from our router and the Planex adapter for X-link kai; but it wouldn't matter anyway, as you've said I need a computer with a wired connection. |

Um no the belkin as its wireless is rendered useless and the Planex Adapter would ONLY be used for the PSP |

Are you sure? Cos I planned to get another wifi adapter, so I'd have my Belkin only for Internet, and the Planex only for PSP after seeing this video, which shows him using a wirelessly-connected laptop to use xlink kai. I don't even mind losing the internet on the PC whilst I'm using X-link on the PSP. There's also this reply to another of your posts today:

Your connection cant be all wireless, the PC running XLink has to be wired to the internet source in order to play the PSP online |
*Unless you have two wifi adapters. One for the PSP, the other for internet. |
Sorry but my purchase of the Planex adapter relies solely on it being able to be set up using my wirelessly-connected PC, so I want to make sure before giving up. Thanks! |

On the thing about not being able to be all wireless, wrong. you have to disable your main wireless connection, connect to the psp, enable main wireless, done. (obviously it has to be set to connect to the access point for your internet.) Granted you cant repeat this once xlink is open sadly, so it wont work for everything. |
