i got the lasted CVS 11-11-2004 build for try out the kai interface.
well first here my deals:
1) my xbmc is 11-11-04
2) engine running on pc (login and pass, engine only for dashes)
3) i don't use firewall (so it's no needed foward 30000 udp port)
4) the skin i used is most recent Project Mayhem II
5) my xbmc is set-up in english language
6) the login of kai is saved on xbmc configuration
7) i don't have any save of previously xbmc versions (i've delete save for use this new 11-11-04 one)
 internet on xbmc is okay because rss and weather is show up
9) my xlink kai is the newest one
10) i follow the dammit tutorial in .pdf file 
What's happen?
I can't load my friend list on xbmc because the orbital don't connect when i use in only for dashboard engine mode, when i use kai in normal mode, i connect and play fine from pc.
about use,
I first load kai engine on pc and after i load xbmc on xbox, when i go to kai tab (i have sure the internet connection is up on xbmc because rss) on pc i can't see a conection on orbital, and xbmc don't load up my friend list!
I tried too start engine on pc when xbox is turned on, so i start xbmc and nothing good, i tired also start engine on pc when xbox is turned on, so i start xbmc and reboot xbox, going again to xbmc and orbital can't connect.
well
should i be waiting for a new build? because it looking a bug or something is wrong?
i no have idea what can i do anymore

make sure to Start Kai Config Tool and set it up for "dashboards only" then click ok, reboot your pc. run the engine start xbmc and if that doesn't work make sure that you have your login details in xbmc 100% correct. |

Make sure you've got the XTag and password put in correctly in XBMC as Nauruto said. |

Naruto and dfunked , first thanks for attention.
I do what your told to do, but the orbital didn't connect yet.
I have sure about my nick and pass on config and xbmc. it's looking ok
i also tried use another nick that i register and nothing 
i really don't have idea what's left to do
i think it's better wait a new build of xbmc or kai upgrades
because this don't make any sense. |

No the new build would still have the same method of login,
ill find the problem 
Edit: This should fix it; i want you to ftp into your xbox, go into E/TDATA/0face008 grab your settings.xml.Open it in word pad use the find tool and search for kai, then it will bring you to were you can enter your user and pass info, once your done save and ftp it back to E/TDATA/0face008 |

it's correct?
when i go to edit xml, my login information is already seted, anyway i write again and upload a new file, after that i reboot my console and tried and orbital don't connect again

if you use norton anti virus 2005
ajust permisions of applications on nav2k5 options, for weird reason nav threat kai like a trojan, so you need to delete the older permissions and set again the complete access permission for everthing on kai dir.
nav block kai engine when it running for dashboards, but works fine when you running on normal mode
thats really weird, but what you need to do, is just is this and will work here. |
