hello, this xbmc ui + kai is awesome
After using kai in xbmc and playing a game XBMC will not reload after reseting the xbox.
The only way to get XBMC to boot properly again is to stop the kai engine on the computer, start xbmc, start the kai engine, then restart XBMC once more.
I dont know why but XBMC doesnt like it when the engine is still logged into an arena? i think thats how it works. Anyways, anyone else with this problem
Thanks |

yeah i done that... but one question is that i'm still using my old XboxMediaCenter.xml... is it necessary to reconfigure to the new version? since it's working and its a lot of work to rewrite (for me anyway). so is it REALLY necessary? |

After i had the problem the first time i removed the game save and everything XBMC related i could find. Also @ redwolf, I am using the most recent .xml file so i dont thing it's that. |

XBMC versions 11-10 and 11-11 have the same bug, which prevents you from using XBMC more then once after playing a game.
it might be fixed in the next build till then we need to find a quick fix
is there anyone that doesn't have this problem? |

You sure that 'Close Engine' is set to 'NEVER' in Kai Config. Tool? |

I have the same problems everyone else is complaining of. I can confirm this behavior exists at 2 of my friends houses as well with their PCs and Xbox setups. I've configured all 3 and we all exhibit the same problems. Sometimes XBMC loads, sometimes it doesn't. If I close the Kai engine it works every time.
It's probably something with the KAI_UI_ATTACH being sent by XBMC or possibly it's not sending the proper UDP string to check if a user is already connected to the engine. Of course this is all speculation, I haven't exactly loaded up Ethereal to check the packets yet - nor am I entirely familiar with the API yet. |
