Sorry if this is redundant, some of the other posts are along the lines as this one. But they end up getting retarded half way through with no resolution/pertinent information coming across.
My connection to Kai is Fine on my pc
Connection from Xbox to PC is fine
I have been able to connect to Halo 2 games, twice.
I am running the game off of my HD in 11/11 XBMC
I can see all the servers available, add friends, everything appears as normal, but when i click Play i get this:
'Please place the game into your xbox and select system link to play online"
Which is great, but there's only a Cancel button. And you can only hit cancel to exit out because none of the other buttons work, yes including select.
When you enter the game, system link...It only shows Create, none of the online games show up.
When it works we had 4-6 games popping up intermittantly, usually as a spot became available. Able to connect fine, play fine, didn't get dropped at all, and we could switch servers without hassle.
I used the faq to setup Kai, and when it works it's badass, you guys did a damn good job. It's just getting it to load a game that's confusing.
If anyone has any ideas, feel free to post them. Also any patterns you notice in getting the games to show in system link would be great.
The only thing I have noticed so far is that it only works if you run Halo 2 from My Files instead of My Programs. |

got it, of course after I post..
Use the UI to add games to your system link.
The UI is in Config for Kai, enable it, launch your server
your xbox can be on system link already
it's pretty self explanatory from there |

Yeah, just hit BACK and load the game in any method you want (easiest is to just go to My Programs in XBMC, or pop in the DVD).
The flickering is an issue with our side, which we're hoping to resolve in a few days. |
