I have TRIED to use Kai for five years now and, once again I have been totally fucked by your sales pitch. I purchased your Mini adapter and YET STILL my shit doesn't work!!! I am so fucking sick of spending four and eight motherfucking hours JUST trying to play a game with my long distance friends. You are LIARS and FRAUDS and I have had a fucking nuff of your bullshit and buying non-working products with no FUCKING support!!! GO FUCK YOUR LIMEY, RETARD SELF!!!

^^ i was frustrated too,but somehow i got mine to work and i can play now.
So maybe there's something here can help u, if not I'm sorry:

I have the GW_US54Mini2W
the GW_US54Mini2G is the same ,only it's black
(I dont see why GW_US54Mini2W means - White and they didnt name the other GW_US54Mini2B means Black ; wth means G - Gray? no!)
and I think GW-USMini2N can work too

I agree with you, it isnt easy to setup like they said (even on planex website, they say just install Kai then play - but I couldn't)

the problem is that the PSP Xlink Kai Option is by default DISABLED so I must turn them on manually.

for XP user, the option isnt hidden, it's in the Advance tab of the Adapter Properties - which you can reach by go to Device Manager, right click on the Adapter (in the network adapter group) then select properties - advance - scroll down...

for Vista one, the option is HIDDEN (so I had a hard time to firgure out why the h*** it didnt work). But there's a trick:
- first you install the driver and utility for Vista like normal
(ex: the lastest one for GW_US54Miini2W&G
Driver: V 1.3.2.0 (2000 / XP)
Driver: V 3.1.5.0 (Vista)
yes 2 drivers in one file)

-then you change the file's Compatibility to XP,then install it - again - ,make it overwrite the "older version" on your Vista,and install the one from XP.Then woop - there's a bunch more options there, and most important : enable Xlink.

(It's in german)

hope this works for u, because it does with me Very Happy

and well the option says there PSP Xlink Kai, but I think it works for the other 3 consoles too (if it didnt)

but actually only do these steps:

In other words, download Vista driver 3.0.2.0 and XP 1.2.2.0.
Then install Vista driver.Do not restart your PC! Once you install it click properties on the XP installer, go to Compatibility tab, and for Compatibility Mode choose Windows XP Service Pack 2. Now you only need to enable your PSP XLink Mode and you can go play.

Clearly you're frustrated and upset. I assure you that the Planex GW-USMini2N DOES work as I have successfully installed it and run it on XP, Vista Home/Premium and Windows 7 p/c's and use it daily with no problems.

From 1.22am to 4.26am, you posted 13 times and yet you did not once say what the problem was, and I don't know how much 'support' you expect at 4.00am in the morning but this is a voluntary, free organisation where people contribute what they can when they can. You are lucky in that MeanMF posted a reply and didn't instantly ban you given your foul language and insults to the team (bear in mind children have access to these forums too).

In all your ranting, you have not actually told anyone specifically what your problems are which is generally required from users in order for anyone to help. Fortunately for you, other users have attempted to help, even though they don't know what your problems are.

I suggest you conduct yourself with a little more decorum when posting in our forums and try to be specific in exactly what the problems are as opposed to swearing and making false accusations against Team Xlink.

for benni,u use vista,install it first,then change the file's Compatibility to XP then install it again (u only have to download one file which is GW-US54Mini2_Windows_v1.3.2.0_CE.zip)

for xp user, just simply install it

so, download the 19.9 MB file, install it, change the compatibility to XP service pack 2, uninstall and reinstall? is this the process? Smile
