To install the rt73 drivers on Vista and have the option to enable/disable pspxlink option in the network properties make sure you change the compatibility to XP.
This works on both x86 (32-bit) and x64 (64-bit) versions of Vista.

Here's a good link to find out what chipset you have for your adapter. It's not complete but it's better than the list on this forum.
Some known chipsets that work are ralink rt73, rt2500, zydas, and the realtek. |

Any ideas:)? |

I'm not sure I can help right now, I gave my adapter away to my sister because she needed it for her computer. I was able to connect just fine though in Vista x64 after setting it up.
I also want to add a how to add adapters to the ralink utility as some adapters aren't detected by the utility (this might also be helpful for the zydas closing problem). Oddly enough, I've found that you can do this for some non-ralink adapters, too.
Step #1:
Find the hardware id of the device.
Note: This is the hardware id for a different device as I gave mine adapter away. This is just an illustration of what you're looking for. Each manufacturer will have a different id. You must find out what your specific id is.
Step #2:
Find the location of the Ralink utility installation, making sure it's the common folder.
Step #3:
Add the hardware id. You can copy and paste a line then edited it to what you need.

What driver did you use with vista 64? (version/company)
Would be nice if you could give me a link/upload it somewhere.
Thanks in advance. |

Just tested it with the other driver - works - strange thing is i get disconnected from the card every few minutes.
Mind if i add your solution to my guide?
Edit: Solution added - also without the Ralink Utility everything is fine. |
