Looking for Kai Engine...

I read the topics, searched here and in google. REinstalled, downloaded newest version, still its the same: He cant find the Kai Engine. Firewall off, I dont even have a Antivirus on. Any suggestions?

Hey, hope im not too late!

I had this exact same problem, where xlink kai doesnt load, and error 502 comes up all the time. for me, none of anybody elses posts worked. but i missed soemthing.
here is a good answer to this problem of yours:

i just solved this problem on my own

ok, the problem (for me anyway) was that i wasnt running xlink kai as administrator

so to solve this, right click start kai > run as > click administrator and type in your password.

if u dont remember your password or it isnt working (this happened to me and took ages) then do the following:

restart your computer in safe mode (press F8 during startup)
sign in as administrator [if u cannot, then i cannot help you further...sorry]
once in, go to control panel, then user accounts...then either remove, or create an administrator password that you wont forget.
now restart as your normal account, and run as administrator with your new password and viola! it works! hope this solved any problems! Very Happy
