Are there still people who play or is gamecube online play dead?

what do you mean my gc is slow?
i have fast internet and my gc is quite fast for online play.
therefore back to my original question, are there still people playing gc online and at what time do they play? |

He means that the gamecube scene is slow, in other words you will probably have trouble finding someone else to play with. |

Some of us still do play on occation, but playability is highly dependent on the location of players. More then 2 States/Provinces apart - and the MKDD, Kirby and 1080 Avalanche start to lag to the point of making the game go almost frame by frame So, when asking if anybody is up for a game, indicate where on the Globe you are . There are some European on this forum as well, if you are in Europe... |

Ya, if you're in the same state it's usually fine. If you're across the nation, the lag is pretty bad. As indicated here...

it may be slow but i still perfer mk:dd over mk:wii seeing as theres no co-op like mk:dd has. who knows maybe nintendo will do a wiimake on this & ssb:melee(with online play) |

if u play it enough with the lag u get used to it lol.
I agree the coop is fun. And im not a big fan of the team play mode in MK Wii. but for solo gaming, MK Wii online is great. |
