2 xboxs same ip useing kai xlink at once

Is it possible for me and my friend to play modern warfare 2, on each of are xbox's. Using Kai xLink. or 1 xbox per IP?

I have a router. Do I hook both the xboxs up to it? then just join a game in kai link.?

I want to use kai xlink because I want to play with my other 2 friends down the street.

Multiple consoles will work.

Yes, and yes. Make sure the pc you're using is wired to the router too, not wireless.
