Seeking GT4/PS2 players in Au - Dec 09

Well, it seems that the GT4 thing is pretty dead at the moment.
. . . just when I get all enthused and go to the trouble of setting myself up with a new router and XLink Kai. I haven't found anyone to even check if I can connect into a game yet.
So this is a slightly desperate call to those of you who might be similarly dis-enthused by the lack of action - perhaps we could resurrect some GT4 competition if we only knew that there are others out there wishing the same thing.
Hey, if you've had the experience of GT4 online with Xlink then come let us know how good (and easy to set up) it is to play.
If you're like me, and are still wishing to find out - well, let me know - and we might be able to work out how to get it happening.
Since I'm on the east side of Australia I'm, of course, anticipating finding players similarly located, but I don't know, at this stage, how limiting geographical distance is going to be - with a 512/128 adsl connection.
It's all a bit of an adventure - with the first part seeming somewhat droll, so far. But I'm hoping !!! Wink

I'll keep an eye on this thread through December 09.

The PS2 community is kinda inactive compared to the others ones: you will not be able to find an opponent H24 unlike the 360's or Monster Hunter's(Psp). However, a small group is still alive and organize meets up, time to time, since they know they are not able to find someone to play with whenever they want.

Yeah i would love to play some GT4 online. Its soo dead but its soo fun. Just havent ever played it online so i need some time to set it up. when at?

i gave my copy of gt4 to my cousins because i wanted to get them into gaming. they love playing it haha. if peeps be active on gt4 i wouldnt mind getting another copy & getting in on that racing action Smile
