I installed version 7 of XLink Kai and was able to use "Configure Kai", but both "Start Kai" or "Start User Interface" get a runtime error. I'm running Windows XP Pro 32-bit. I have the following information:

I have tried everything that the stickies have said and more. I am lost! I reloaded my PC with Windows XP MCE SP3 and loaded only Xlink 7.4 after doing all my updates (no Firewall or Antivirus) and it gives me the runtime error saying it closed in an unusual way. I even tried Windows7 and it worked a little but started giving the runtime error and the engine would lockup and crash while the 360 was playing if I got out of a game and tried again. All search engines pretty much point to that sticky you posted but it does not fix my issue. Is there anyway someone can help me? 7.3 worked perfectly, only 7.4.x gives me this problem and now 7.3 appears to be gone.
