I am using a Mac for this. My console is banned from Xbox Live for being modded but I do not think that should matter one bit. Some reason, I can not get this to work.
orbital name: Team XLink Montreal
reachable: Not Yet
local ip: 67.81.228.87
local port: 30000
engine version: 7.4.18
pssdk/winpcap: OS X/libpcap

ethernet adapter: en0
locked: 1
up engine traffic: 0
down engine traffic: 0

down chat traffic: 0
up orb traffic: 0
down orb traffic: 0
pssdk/winpcap (again?): libpcap
mac cache entrie: 0
broadcast traffic inbound: 0
broadcast traffic outbound: 0
unicast traffic inbound: 0
unicast traffic outbound: 0
wireless SSID:
Found Consoles:
Xbox

The weird thing is that it's detecting the console but will not connect to the network. Does it have anything to do with the ethernet card? it says locked:1
Everything is set to default in the options except for network adapter. It is set to en0, it was on autodetect and always had that one as the one it showed so I just selected it. Everything else is default. I would appreciate any help.

Switch off the firewall in system prefremces .
Also make sure that the connection between the xbox and the mac is wired .
Make your local port 0 .
Also in network make a static ip on the mac like this for the xbox :
10.0.0.5 subnet: 255.255.255.0 then apply .
If i'm correct , then on the left side it will say connected .
Everything should be working then .
I'm using a wired connection to my mac mini & another wired ( usb network cable ) connection to my Xbox 360 . I'm using Mac OS x 10.6.3 and everything is working great .
