Must really all of the plugins be off ?

If so it wont be able to play it with 5.00 m33, you either use the m33_620 plugin or the prometheus one.

Or can I have m33_620 plugin running (in order to play the game ) and all the others off ?

cant see my mac address on xlink

followed hawk´s guide

tried setting the router in DMZ mode, it dindt work , assigned a specific channel on the psp ad-hoc , it didnt work , turning off the firewall it didnt work

Not necessarily. Mine works fine with plugins on.

Depends on what plugins you have. Some are fine, others will lag or probably disconnect your PSP. Just to be safe turn off all the plugins you don't really need.

BlazBlue Portable works like a charm, didn't even have to reconnect the PSP / X-Link Kai when changing in-game lobbies. Ping was decent, even though I was playing against the US folks from Europe.

@ZX497 - Does Blazblue Portable usually require a change of SSID if using a normal adapter? We are trying to determine if the Yuki Plug-in can find and connect to an SSID swapping game.

Thanks,
Hawk.

@JeffWalker:

A short how-to guide for Linux can be found here:
http://www.teamxlink.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=39587

@Dreamflux, yours is a port forwarding issue, nothing to do with the Yuki Plug-in, for help read here:

I'm sorry, I wouldn't know. Considering Peace Walker apparently doesn't seem to work, and people are having problems with Dissidia, another well-known SSID-swap-requiring game, I'm gonna go on a limb and claim the plugin can't SSID swap...

But yeah, I don't know for sure. I don't have any other method of connecting to X-Link Kai outside of this USB-method, so any SSID swapping, be that manual or automatic, is outside my territory to be honest. To put it short, Peace Walker doesn't work, BlazBlue does...there's gotta be a difference there somewhere, and I'm willing to bet it's the SSID swapping.

I have Windows 7 64 bit edition and i just can't install the PSP Type B driver.
Do anyone know the solution how to make it work? Or a download link to the 64 bit edition would be fine too Smile

okay this is confusing

i can see one of my friends in the guild hall but not my other friend

my 1st friend can see both of us who cannot see each other.

if my 1st friend initiallizs quest and the 2 of us who cannot see each other join, we DC once the quest starts

also we cannot see each other make quests.

why is this happening?

One guy managed to play Dissidia twice at random, out of the fives times he tried. His cfw was the 5,50 Gen D3 which may be involved somehow; more than the ping apparently since I managed to play him while it was 170ms. Ping might not be related into this at all at the end.

He wasn't portforwarded tho so no one should quote me on that until I tried it by myself with someone whose I know the configuration is perfect.

@chickendiego547

Cheers for that, http://www.teamxlink.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=39665 updated Smile

@Naro

That's good news, maybe we can try again on Dissidia in the week?

Who ever is on this project please, keep up the good work, I would like to see a more updated and better outcome on this project, depending on the future releases, I'd be really interested in working with who's ever project this is.

Guy is Yuki-mi if you want to get in touch with him for coding and such. The plugin is open source.

But if you don't know about programming, guess the best you can do is to test games which have been reported as non working or even yet to be tested: http://www.teamxlink.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=39665

Not sure that every guy who tried God Eater, Naruto and Peace Walker had their Kai perfectly set, portforwarded and so on you see?

Fresh news for Dissidia. As I teamviewed the guy who managed to play it to adjust his configuration, I can tell what it looks like.
Quote:
Kai 7,4
5,50 Gen D3
Port 30000 open (not Upnp)
Static IP into the loopback (see: http://img535.imageshack.us/img535/1382/sanstitrefop.jpg )
No firewall/antivirus enabled
No other plugins in the Psp but adhoctousb
"Follow Psp SSID" disabled
PAT enabled

It can't be confirmed as working yet though since he is the only one who managed to make it work. I'll reproduce his configuration and try again.

Not so fresh after all.

I teamviewed someone to set him up in the same exact conditions as written above and it didn't work: yet again, the white screen reappeared.

Frustrating.
