Alot of people may only think, that the only way to install Type B drivers, is only by disabling Driver Signature Enforcement. Well, no!
Because today, I'm here to show you how to install it the real way ^^.
First of all, download the drivers by clicking HERE
You will need to disable Driver Signature Enforcement, to do that, restart your computer and keep tapping/hold F8, then a menu will pop-up, choose the last option which will say " Disable Driver Signature Enforcement ".
(Click the pictures to see them in bigger size)
MAKE SURE YOU ENABLE ADHOCTOUSB PLUGIN IN RECOVERY MODE, ELSE THE DRIVER WON'T INSTALL WHEN YOU PLUG-IN THE USB
This method works for RemoteJoy too.
1. Extract the files in any place you want.
2. Open Device manager
3. Make sure to click the username of your computer
4. Now click Action and then Add Legacy Hardware
5. Hit Next
6. Choose Install the hardware I manually select from a list (Advanced) then Next
7. Click Show All Devices then Next
8. Click Have Disk... Click "Image" to see the picture
9. Hit Browse and go to the location where you extracted the folder
10.
11. Choose the file I choose
12. Then hit OK
13. Hit Next (Sorry for that, just hit OK then Next)
14. Hit Next again
15. This may show up, just hit Install This Driver Software Anyway and wait for it to install
16. Then plug-in the USB in your PSP and this will show up.
Now your done!!! I hope this tutorial helped you and thanks for reading !! ^^

this seems contradictory as you DO have to be in DSE mode, and when you reboot, the driver no longer works. |

Make sure you enabled the plug-in and check the driver's status. |

I did exacly like you did in the guide, but when I install the drivers, instead of appearing "PSP Type-b" it reads "PSP" and only that.
Bridge.exe doesnt recognize my psp/driver, but Kai does recognize my PSP.
Help? |

I made a topic regarding the unsigned driver thing.
In it I included a link to this topic for the installation of the driver itself, so I hope you're OK with that OP. |
