Is your network reachable? -- no
Are you using a port-forward? -- yes, UDP 30000 on my PCs IP
Is your console being detected? -- yes
Brief description of your network setup: -- DSL 1024down, 128up, fritz router, xbox connected via ethernet over power line (but that should not cause that Problem, right)
Do you use a software firewall? What brand? Have you made any changes to it? XP SP2 Firewall - turned on and off, made no change
Operating System? XP
Problem description? well, network not yet reachable ...

Change the KaiNIC to the NIC in your PC and see if that helps. |

You got a screenshot of that fritz router page where you did the port-forward? Are you *100%* sure it's pointing to the correct internal IP of the PC that runs Kai?
Also, the DSL modem, does it have it's own control panel? If so, you will need to open a virtual server on the modem that directs 30000 UDP traffic to the router (the router will then redirect to teh PC). |

First of all: THX for the help!
But ... the Problem is not solved. I changed the NIC to my computers NIC ... did not work!
And i checked a second time my router settings. The DSL Modem is integrated so there is no need (and no way) to change any Modem settings. And i forwarded UDP port 30000 to my computers IPs (checked again via ipconfig) port 30000!
any more ideas / suggestions? |
