MAC address is red - help

i have been playing with this thing for days now. I can't figure out what is wrong.

I tried static address on all nodes
Port fowarding
Firewall disabling
Physical connections with crossover cable as well as patch
Turning laptop into NAT
ICS
Wifi connection with PSSDK and Winpcap

Everything doesn't work.
My ps3 mac address just keeps showing up as red.

Does my mac need to be added to list?

Network is reachable and network card is locked.
I also tried my desktop and laptop, each NIC card (total 3 in each)

I looked in a bunch of forums for help. Got some ideas but nothing yet.

Any ideas would be helpful.

same problem here and i ve public IP without router so cant forward port, but it is not giving me any error after locking my network card in settings:

i can c someone else connected with PSP in Xlink Kai and only MAC adress of my PS3 without un/recognizing, which means it worx but why not 4 me?

tried everything: restarting PS3/PC, disabling firewall, changing port, both clients 7.3 & 7.4 where it is showing that i am reachable, so what 2 do plz?

it helped my to get my ps3 MAC address blue. Still no "Configured Successfully" yet, but probably getting closer.

Also I tried to change Kai port to 0 and deep port to 0.

I now tried just using uPNP on my routers without any static fowards. The PC clients pulls up faster and ping others a lower ms.

Maybe this might help you too.

are you using a jb ps3?
just got mine to work with all auto ip assigned.
i tried it on my jb ps3 with psn341. bin payload and worked no problem

finally!

using kai 7.3

i spent whole friday till i was able 2 connect via xlinkai, but played only 1 zombie game in COD:BO and never found a game in normal LAN search list, so i created and were playing, but second time ppl couldnt connect :/

and now u c only MAC adress too, or it gets recognized as PS3 on 7.3.1.7?

Yeah only Mac on 7.3

YOU HAVE TO USE 7.3 TO PLAY XKAI ON PS3

UPDATE=windows 7 and vista users must run 7.3 in compatability mode to get it to work also the ui of 7.3 is different chat is located by clicking the ? next to the magnifiying glass
