If I can't get XLink to work, plan B involves wiring my PS3 into a wireless router so I can just use adHoc Party. Just waiting to see if I can get one cheaply or for free depending on how a friend's network upgrading goes...
Tried dragging the .dll onto bridge.exe, still not finding the PSP. |

Still no dice. PC is in Test mode (and has been since I installed this copy of the OS <_<), signing with NGO's tool doesn't seem to be working because the system still says it's unsigned. It's installed, though. There is a notification icon over the device icon when it's plugged in in PSP Type B mode, but AFAIK that's Win7 bitching because it's not signed.
I'm pretty sure the drivers are in, the big problem ATM is bridge.exe not picking up.
Brother already got it working on his computer, he still has XP so it was less problematic.
::UPDATE:: Must be the driver. Following the directions to get RemoteJoy working from the CFE2.2 package that the drivers came from (I already use CFE)... nothing. The system is connecting in PSP Type B mode, but RemoteJoy isn't picking it up either. It looks like it installed properly but I guess it didn't. Halp?
::VICTORY:: I DID have the driver installed properly, I just needed to update it. It works now! |

Then you have entered the path for the plugin incorrectly or not placed it in the seplugins folder, it should be
"ms0:/seplugins/AdhocToUSB.prx"
"ms0:/seplugins/game.txt"
enter "ms0:/seplugins/AdhocToUSB.prx 1" in game.txt
or if you use a PSPGO
"ef0:/seplugins/AdhocToUSB.prx"
"ef0:/seplugins/game.txt"
enter "ef0:/seplugins/AdhocToUSB.prx 1" in game.txt
you need to have the AdhocToUSB.prx and game.txt in the seplugins folder. |

So close, yet so far! ME-6.60 1.6 here. I've managed to get the Bridge to recognize the PSP, but X-Link is not detecting anything on the Loopback Driver, nor detecting the PSP. I've tried just about every config possible while in the MHFU Arena/Lobby, but can't seem to figure out this last puzzle piece. Anyone able to make any suggestions? Diagnosis screenshot below.

Whats your OS and is it 32 or 64 bit ? The thing that keeps me wondering is the first line in your bridge
"C:\PSP\PSP Type B Driver install ENG>bridge"
What exactly did you do with the PSP Type B driver ? |

I have it on my 32 bit Windows XP laptop. The Type B driver installed okay and I saved the bridge file there for convenience. All I ripped in to run it was 'bridge' in the command prompt. I tried both v1 and v2 of the bridge program as well. |

Have you checked if the plugin is active on your psp by checking the recovery menu, also did you check if you entered the path for adhoctousb.prx correctly in the game.txt file ? Do you use the adhoctousbv2 for 6xx ? |

I entered and enabled the plugin correctly. It took a few times to find a version of adhoctousb.prx that didn't crash the PSP upon entering multiplayer(or better yet, loading the game). I think the 6.20 was the only one that actually worked. |

I followed it step for step. The only difference I noticed is that I set the loopback IP to a 192.168.2.100 range rather than 192.168.1.250. Some further updates that might be of note though; X-Link is reading the Loopback Adapter fine. The packets start flowing as soon as I join an arena(see below). On the same note, the bridge identifies the PSP as seen in the command prompt. The problem should be one or the other though, right? This really has me stumped.

Done! The driver versions didn't even have the same numbering principle...but still no dice. Damn. Tried your suggested 1.2.2.2 and the current 1.2.2.6 without luck. Any other ideas? |

TP-Link WR841N..I've had very limited success on using my older laptop for a wifi/ethernet setup, but it disconnects way too often, if it even gets that far. Is there something I need to do on that to set it up for USB? |

Hmm. It already is apparantly. Do I need to add something to its list? I'm seeing Hamachi and Teredo as its only current apps. |
