Is your network reachable?
Sometimes
Are you using a port-forward?
Yes I do, port 8206 UDP
Is your console being detected?
Yes
Brief description of your network setup:
I have a Router/Firewall with 1 Pc and 1 Xbox
Do you use a software firewall? What brand? Have you made any changes to it?
I don't use a software firewall,I have a Hardware Firewall
Operating System?
Windows XP
Problem description?
My network is reachable on the moment that I post a message in the general chat,Then the diagnostics program says Network Reachable: Yes, but not Earlier, I have to post a message and there for I must use the UI in windows XP, instead of the engine only for dashboards.
The problem is that I can't post a message from XBMC to get the network reachable.
So i can't see any other users when I'm selecting System Link in any game.

No that's not the case. You've got kaiDeepPort 8206 when nobody ever told you to touch it - there are *NO* instructions on any piece of documentation *ANYWHERE* sayign to put anything in Kai Deep Port. The reason being is only people we know are the ones who should be putting anything in there. Put it back to 0.
You have to enter arena mode in order for the UI to update 'Network Reachable'. Take note, the UI. The engine *KNOWS* if the network is reachable or not as soon as you start Kai so you could easily play in Messenger Mode and it's not a case of you having to be forced to enter arena mode or type a message in the chat - it's only for the UI to update itself. |

Thanks for your answer, I put the Kai Deep port back to 0 and I can see Arena's in XBMC.
But when I try to join a hosted game, system link says that there are no games to join.
What did I do wrong ??
Thanks for your advice and keep up the good work !!!!!! |

You need to make sure that the PC works before XBMC. Can you host/join games from the PC app? |

Okay, if you click Start / Programs / XLink Kai Evolution 7 / start Kai, can you see games or join games on your "Xbox" and "TV" when the game is in "system link mode" looking for games? |

Okey, when I start kai and I boot up my Xbox, The kai UI says Kay UI Attached and shows the Ip of my Xbox.
When I put a game in my xbox for example Rainbow six 3 and go to system link, it says that there are no games to join.
So I can't see any games or join any games in system link mode. |

And are you sure there are people in the Rainbow Six 3 room hosting games? |

Just to confirm, is your network reachable still and the XBox detected? You must have used a PC at some point in time, otherwise you wouldn't have been able to fill out the help request form. |

When I start XBMC and go to My programs -> Xlink Kai -> Games -> Ranbow Six 3 I see 10 Users and when I select a User I can see Ping times, I can also put them on my frends list.
The only strange thing that is see, when I slect Rainbowsix 3 in the Game section there are also some other games listed in the Rainbow Six section |

Okay well you went back to XBMC again. What I want to know is can you play games from the PC application. If the PC side of things work, then XBMC will work as well. So back to the PC, can you chat in the room and get some information from the other users in that room? Ask them what your ping is. And ask them if they are hosting or not. |

And you changed the kaiLaunch=ENGINE in the XLink Kai Config tool to normal Kai use?
When you were in that room, were there other users in there as well? Did you get the ping and host information like I asked by chance? |

Oke first of all I joined a game
My Xbox is booting XBMC as default dash and I think it claims the UI,
So I did the following things from XBMC I booted the normal Microsoft dash, I stoped the engine on my PC and started again and from that point it is working.
Now is the question, why is it that it won't work from xbmc
oke forget the last question I'm so happy as a bird with big wings, I can play online.
thank you for you support and patience |

No problem m8, glad you are sorted.
*Edit*
And so you know, if you still want to use XBMC it should work with no problems since everything works from the PC. |
