Bridge does not detect psp and a few questions

Is your network reachable?
yes
Are you using a router?
yes
Did you set a static IP on the PC running Kai?
no, but ports shouldnt be the problem
Did you forward port 30000 to the static IP?
yes, router allows ports as needed
Did you click the globe after forwarding to see if your network goes reachable?
I cant find a globe but i dont think this is the problem
What console are you using?
psp
Is your console being detected?
I think so, shows up on available connections
Brief description of your network setup:
router --> pc(wirelessly) -> psp(usb connected)
Model numbers of the router, and modem?
Virgin media super hub, its a netgear.. will get model if necessary
Do you use a software firewall? What brand? Have you made any changes to it?

Problem description?
Setup runs fine but when asked to run bridge then connect psp it just says "search psp USB device" I dont even know what number corresponds to ms loopback adaptor or how to find out.. I used this guide http://www.teamxlink.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=39586
