Heya,
My friend and i are looking for a cooperative game to play over kai.
natrually we hoped halo 2's excellent split screen cooperative play would work on system link, but as you all know we were wrong.
Basically we are so desperate right now that any game which will allow us to play together and not against each other would suffice.
I greatly thank any one who would help.
Thanks.

Thanks. Sounds cool!
But just to make sure, does it support coop in the sense of the two of us against the game's AI in full mission mode? |

Halo2 campaign is a big dissapointment to me, I kept playing and waiting for it to get better but it didn't so I stopped playing it.
GR2 has by far the best co-op for a system link shooter. |

I must say GR2 co-op mode is the best that there is, you get some good tense moments from waiting for the AI.
Also try Rainbow Six 3 (both Orig. and BA) in Mission or Terrorist hunt, but you can only have 4 players.
I cant think of any other co-op sys link games, i think that serious sam has the option, but i'm not completly sure |

Serious Sam does have co-op over sys link. And it's great fun!
I made a topic about Serious Sam a while ago (a long while ago). I guess that I need to get Ghost Recon 2 then. |

I am pretty sure what he means is he setup a coop game and it said waiting for players, but you will be waiting a long time, as there is no way to actually start the game, you can just sit at the lobby screen forever. |

Many Thanks for all your replies.
Seeing the reaction over GR2 i will be sure to give it a test over the next few days.
Not so many people here got XBOX as it is not distributed here officially and because of the lag we cant go out much UK is ~120-150ms...
so we basically play 1vs1 games. trouble is racing games are pretty much all we can play - halo2 multiplayer with 2 people can get pretty boring after.. say.. 2 rounds?
Thank you for all the replies so far |

thanks for clearing that up yeah as mentioned elsewhere the code was removed just before the game launched to take out the feature. |

I think it because the game is waiting for another player to join on the same xbox.
Sadly, split screen is the only way to play Halo 1 or 2 in coop mode.
I seem to recall reading somewhere that the dev's said synchronising the players position and the AI on two seperaate machines requires too much overhead.. |
