EasyBox 802 and XLINK Kai

Hello,

my PC and my XBOX 360 is connect to the internet via an EasyBox 802.
But when i use XLINK Kai i can´t join a game / can´t see an other player on my XBOX 360 via Systemlink in an Game.
But diagnostic mode says that my console is detected and show me the mac adress of my console.
And that my port/network is reachable.

Therefore i think that´s a problem of the EasyBox 802.
Thus my question: Someone have an EasyBox 802 too and XLINK Kai that´s work?
How i have to configure the EasyBox 802?

Here is my configuration:

Is your network reachable? Yes
Are you using a port-forward? Yes
Is your console being detected? Yes
Brief description of your network setup: Realtek RTL8188SU Wireless LAN 802.11n USB 2.0 Network
PC is connect to EasyBox802 via WLAN
XBOX360 is connected to EasyBox802 via LAN
Do you use a software firewall? ESET SmartSecurity 4.2.40
I have open the Port 30000 and 34522 in this firewall and allowed kaiUI.exe and KaiEngine.exe
Operating System? Windows Vista Home Basic + Service Pack 2
Problem description? I can´t see other players on my XBOX 360 when i´ve joined an arena or when i´m hosting a game.

Hello Micahel,

you mean that my problem are these titleupdates i´ve installed for my games?
I thought that I urgently need this to play via systemlink or multiplayer.
And now i hear from you that i have to remove it?

Ok, i will test it and hope that my problem is fixed.

But does all the games works without those title-updates?

Who told you that ? Most Xlink Kai users don't have XBL and don't have the Title updates .

Red Dead Redemption is the only game that needs a Title update because of a bug in system link .

Nobody told me that - I just thought it is so.
So now i clear my Cache and only keep the tu for Red Dead Redemption.

Hello Michael,

now i´ve cleared my cache but i always can´t see other players in an arena.
What´s wrong with me?

I have the newest version of Kai (7.4.1 Cool

and i have deinstalled anjd reinstalled it.
But always the same problem.
The PFPortChecker-Tool says that my UDP Port 30000 is open.
My Firewall in my Router is disabled.
And the UDP 30000 Port in my Router is open via Portmapping.
My Windows-Firewall is disabled btw. the Ports 30000 and 34522 are open.

I have read the complete FAQ but i don´t found a solution for my problem.

What should/can i still do?!?

Try to disable the ESET SmartSecurity 4.2.40 .

I had a hard fight with the Easybox 802 but finally I've won.

The major problem is the UPD Porting of Easybox in general + unsupported dmz at all newer firmware.

So first of all download the old firmware (full functional with xlink)

Update your router with that old FW 20.02.210
Active DMZ under Firewall/DMZ + IP of your xbox360 eg. 192.168.2.102

Make sure the all Network Settings are manual
IP 192.168.2.102
Sub 255.255.255.0
Gateway 192.168.2.1 (Standard-IP for Easybox)

Plus Alternavite Mac-Adress
Put the same MAC-Adress which shows as LAN-Mac Adress
and put a name in it.

Portforward the UPD 30000 with your PC-IP (prompt cmd + ipconfig /all for your IP-No.)

Restart Router and have fun with the Xlink Kai Engine
