ps3 not detected

so i followed the steps especially on port forwarding.

i used my gateway address to log in at my router and then added the port 30000 and others too (portfording.com said so)

no players and clan are detected as well as my ps3 (shows as ?) and i dont get a dns error

when i deleted the ports, the no. of clans and players shows up, but still no dns error and i cant play

i guess theres something wrong about the port which is causing all of these problems

You have to have xlink open before opening thats one way you might not be getting the dns error

Well I opened xlink first before my PS3.

and i think I missed tons of steps like connecting the PS3 to the PC via ethernet

I am really sorry, I have not used the xlink wirelessly for ps3, I hear it is unstable, I work it wired and it works like a charm.
