Oh how its been so long.

About 4 years ago, a guy who knew almost nothing about technology joined XLink Kai for one simple thing: To play Halo 2 online. Little did I know, joining XLink Kai...well lets just get into a story shall we?

The Beginning: Man, did I look really ******* stupid.

In the month of 2007, a kid decided to hit the place he had heard little of, but thought was cool. After about 3 hours of actual use, this kid thought he a genius when it came to using the nifty piece of software. He hit the forums, and posted on every help thread he could, and then thought..."TIME TO MODERATE BABY." He went all over the fourms giving, mostly wrong, information to everybody, and shortly found himself in a room that the true authority. in, and I instantly shat a brick. If I remember correctly it was prestige, MortJ, and MstrGmr (MstrGmr at this time was a moderator). They sat me down, and in a simpler way than originally said..."At least read the FAQ before helping."

Shortly thereafter I made it my one single goal of figuring the ins-and-outs of XLink, no matter how much information I had shove in my tiny brain. Forget homework, Forget a life, I am going to learn this, and then it began, my notable interest technology now sprung out and began to grow, and thus began the next part of the story...

The Middle: LEARN ALL THE THINGS.

I think around this time, MstrGmr had become a Admin, and a little bit later SgtLegend became a moderator. I had become good friends with almost everyone, my name was fairly known. I had a CRAP LOAD of fun playing Phantom Dust with DragonFire, MstrGmr, MortJ. Always talked with Kovert-xX (Man I miss that guy). llnk was close to have a little Kai ( Very Happy

), and CrunchBite was being the little awesome dude he is. (Kai Cards anyone)

It was around this time, that I ran into someone named -MuffinDCC-, which to this day never asked what DCC stood for, just assumed it was Double Chocolate Chip. Who got me into Web Development, and Web Design. It was also when I started messing around with servers, and Joomla. Man, oh man, were the people from Kai. Around this time is when I was happy to just chat on the forums (Staying away from the people who needed help ;p)

I set-up my first server, put up a website (Multiple ones at that), and dived into...the darker side of things, but always came back to have some fun on the good side. Things were going well in the world of Kai, everyone was having fun.

Ninja Edit: Remember those awesome clans? 1up, TU, Diamond, OG, CpT...ahh the good times.

The Beginning of the End: Bobby Bushay, Xbox Live is the DEVIL.

At this time, Kovert-xX hadn't logged in awhile, only 1 or 2 admins and moderators were on at a time, the 360 came out, and because of Microsoft's awful ways, it was nearly impossible to have xbox 360 on Kai. Almost everyone was leaving for college, and other reasons, and due to an issue a good friend of mine refused to come back to Kai. A couple people from CpT, and TU went to Xbox Live, and while it was fun, it was short lived, people eventually stop coming online, people got real lifes (OH GOD A LIFE), and it was getting harder, and harder to find people to play with. It was at this time that I decided it was time to find new people to play with.

Lucky reddit was around, and I was able to find a couple people to getting a cool group to play with (Some of which I still actively play with).

And while I was still able to talk with MstrGmr, MortJ, and Ricochet a little every now and then, it simply wasn't the same. When I think of the good times, it was on Kai, and its memories that will never be erased, its up there with first kiss, prom, graduation, and other awesome things.

Really, its my way of saying Thanks to everyone at Kai, if it wasn't for you, I wouldn't be where I'm at.

I'm one of the youngest people working at my awesome security firm job, and I honestly think that If I hadn't had the group of people from Kai in my past, i would never be here.

I'm sure I'm missing a lot of people who helped along the way, and I thank ALL of you.
