Anyone tried any XBox emulators on Kai yet?

Is it possible to host a game that isn't on the list? I posted on the kai xbox-scene forum a few weeks ago and was told that Kai works with anything that utilises system link

so...

I'm dying to play SF2 or something on one of the netplay-enabled emus

Just read the NFO for Neogenesis and it allows Netplay - i haven't checked if it's standard system-link style (i.e. that Kai supports) or it uses it's own methods

If anyone's tried anything like this let us know how it goes. I can't try this week as I'm waiting for my XBox to return from its travels

ive always wanted to do this, i got n64, gba, snes, ne if anyone wants to play a game let me know im in.

kai should make a channel for emulators in the kai program so ppl can type there ips or something cuz its hard to find ppl to play emus with

actually, if you set your box to dhcp, start kai, reboot your xbox, kai will give it an ip automatically for this.

then you can play in an arena like homebrew, since not many play there.

do you need to know ppl's IP to search or something?

oh btw the idea is to test out the emus first, then you report to the kai guys whether the emus are successful and whether they play ok etc, THEN they'll make an arena...or something like this anyway

so get playing lads and lets see some emu's in the homebrew section

Nah you don't have to enter an IP and stuff I dont think.
I would have tested it out already but I can't get Kai to work for me Crying or Very sad

It would only work if the emulator supports netplay. So the snes and finalburn and others wont work. Id try that neogenisis though streets of rage would be cool to play.

Ive tried emu's on kai evo 7 and successfully played with someone in U.S.

In xports emulators theres new features to assign your xbox to an ip,

We were both on the same ip range and worked.Although it lagged like no tommorow , this is probably due to me being in uk and the him being in US.

So anyone in europe or UK want a pasting on any emu whichever rom im not fussed let me know! Laughing

No snes or n64 support btw.

Genesis , GB/GBC, NES, ATARI ST, C64, MASTERSYSTEM

Only possible way to play SF2 is on neogenesis i would imagine, so line up to get your **** kicked
