So, when I start the UI, it just keeps saying "Looking for Kai Engine", and if I try to launch the configure program or the engine, it just flashes the splash logo and then disappears. I followed http://portforward.com/english/routers/port_forwarding/2wire/2701HG-S/Xlink_Kai.htm as a guide, and I tried PFPortChecker to see if 30000 was forwarded, and it said it wasn't. I can get into Halo 2 System Link alright, but xLink isn't working. Help?

Did you allow your router firewall and if you have software firewall to let kai through/pass without blocking ? Have you installed the latest microsoft visual c++ library (2010) ? Are you using xbox or xbox360 ?

I also tried 73.14, and starting Kai (not the interface, it's labeled Start Kai) gave me a runtime error. I followed http://www.teamxlink.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=32242 and it still gave me a runtime error.

I had to reinstall Windows, so it's working now.
Thanks, though.
