Not Reachable, but now I am!!!

I had some trouble setting xlink kai up for MHFU with a USB.
So, I used AdhocToUSB v2 for 6.39 ME lite.
Opened port 30000. (well somewhat I'll explain later on)
I have a psp3000.
I used Bridge.exe, the newer one, it 69kB.
WinPcap, MSloopbackdriver and ofcourse the newest xlinkai.

Story:
Everything worked fine.. well except for the not reachable part and that port 30000 was closed and nothing could open it.
The bridge said the connection was OK, but xlinkkai still said I was not reachable.
So.. after 3 days of tweaking and trouble shooting and reading some topic on the forums...
I finally came to the conclusion that my router didn't get the message to open port 30000 when Kai runs.
How I noticed this? I had the same problem with minecraft(yeah lol xD).
As my router closes ALL ports until it gets the message from a pc to open a port. The pc gets this message from a .exe or .jar(minecraft lol)(and duh...you wanna have hackers? I had some...bad people D:, so no, you want to have your ports closed when you are not running the program).
Since I was using the WEB UI in Firefox, it didn't send the message to open that port.

Solution:
So, you need to set the UI to UI PROGRAM.(standard is WEB UI, didn't work for me, so check UI PROGRAM)

yeah that thingy.

So it starts the xlinkkai program. A bit different but better.
I checked my port 30000(with a site) and it was open!!!
And I could play MHFU!!!
Finally. Very Happy

i encounter that to, if im using a web UI, i always get a not reachable status in metrics, but when i use the Program UI, im reachable to xlink kai.

but theres a little ping problem to other players.

Dude I have exact the same problem but I can`t open xlink kai if I set UI to UI PROGRAM. How do you play? PLease reply I really wanna play Mhfu via xlink kai Confused

sometimes when i get "un-reachable" in metrics in the web UI it's just a matter of unplugging my router for 10 secs the plugging it back in. then i do kai again and BAM reachable
