No Arenas!

Do you use a software firewall? What brand? Have you made any changes to it? only windows firewall

Problem description? i can log in with my console into xlink kai and see the user but i cant see any arenas. not pc nor xbox. i cant see any hosted game, even at COD MW3

YES! i can see some arenas now! I am now at the pc and in the MW3 arena

what i have to do now?

Go to the arena of your choice enter it, next choose multiplayer of the game you want to play in your xbox360 like MW3 and search for any games that are being hosted through the game interface.

is this where i am on the image a arena or must i go into the private arena?
Does it mean that i have nothing to do on the xbox with xlink kai except of turning it on?

edit: i managed to go with modern warfare3 on xlink kai i see in lobbies in system link from MW3. But when i try to join them it tries to connect and after 5 seconds it says could not connect to host. Whats wrong?

You need to have the same network mask 255.255.0.0 and same ip Scheme like 192.168.xxx.xxx to be able to play with others.

i looked up in the launch.ini and theres written: pingpatch=true
that means the ping limit schould be patched or not?
i also gived my pc a static ip.
i thought the subnet mask has to be 255.255.255.0 not 255.255.0.0
both pc and xbox have the same subnet mask and standard gateway
my ip is 192.168.xxx.xx
of course the last two numbers are different on xbox and pc

i hope you can do something with it Sad

How is everything put together XBox360 PC Router is it wired or wireless ? It is necesarry to give your PC and your XBox360 a static IP. Every device should have the same subnet mask (Router, PC, XBox360). If possible try to change the subnetmask of every device to 255.255.0.0
Your console has the pingpatch running pingpatch=true confirms that the ping limit is removed.

is it realy nescesary to change the subnet mask to 255.255.0.0 on every device? Because i cannot access every device at home. would a change mean loosing internet connection?

Then let every device have 255.255.255.0 as subnet and all devices should have the same gateway and DNS server, now test if it works. If your router has mac filtering enabled make an exception for your xbox360.

only thing is that i dont know the dns server of the router i took the ip of the router.

Gateway is the router IP and standard DNS is also the router IP. You should be good to go now.

Could you make a screenshot of your kai config, are you using FSD with your RGH Xbox360 ? Did you make an exception for Kai in the Fritz! DSl Protect software ? Are you able to access the internet with your Xbox360 like the Xbox Live market to see if your wireless configuration is working ?

Yes, im am using FSD to log in to xlink kai. i can connect to the PC without problem. everything is going fine till i try to join a game. then the game says: could not connect with host.

As i said its a RGH, i dont access xbox live with it Wink

but i can download Title updates or Covers directly in FSD, thats a proof for internet access. I also use FTP everything works fine. Only Xlink kai doesnt work Sad

In your kai config under "Paket Capture Bibliothek" choose your network adapter dont leave it on auto. Under "Standard Profile" use Seperated use - Engine Pc. Make a check on enable PAT.
