Connecting my Play Station 2 to xlink

I tried following the manual configuration for xlink kai on it and the instructions said to put in the mac IP. But the thing is I don't have a MAC IP on my playstation 2, the list cuts off at dvd player. I really want to be able to play my socom game online after the server shuts down but I cant figure out how to get the LAN mode to work properly. I can logg in and everything but see no games. Please help

If there is a way to give me step by step help via phone call that would be much appreciated

im the same as you, i always get d/c from the network, or else i cant see any games, im trying to connect thru ps3, xlink is seriously pissing me off now, im starting to give up.
