I'm not sure whether this is because of xlink or adhoctousb, but it's seeming to be the latter as it didn't happen when I had the wrong version of adhoctousb.
What happens is that at random my computer freezes, completely, can't ctrl alt del or anything, have to hard shut down my pc.
I'm using 6.60 pro-c but this happened when I used 5.50 prome-4 a while ago, I have also tried all 3 thread options before selecting ms loopback driver on bridge.exe, all 3 resulted in the freeze.
Anyone know anything about this? |

Does the freezing occur with other usb devices and when xlink isnt running ? Have you been a victim of any virus/trojan/worm in the past ?
Well i suggest just to make sure, that you scan your pc with "malware bytes antimalware" or "superantispyware". If your system is clean run "auslogics" "diskdefrag" and "regcleaner" to clean up your system and get rid of software related issues.
If it is a xsplit related issue go to the xsplit forums--> http://www.xsplit.com/forum/ |

freezing only occurs with xlink and adhoc, I'm about to run the gui for a while to see if it freezes without bridge running. |

It could be that the cpu usage is too high when you run xlink adhoctousb and xsplit hence the freezes. |

Um, I'm not running xsplit, just xlink and adhoctousb.
So far no crash from xlink on it's own. |

Yeah i misread your "xslip" (whatever you mean by that) for "xsplit". |

yh, I've been doing that recently, getting xsplit and xlink mixed up, besides you can't use remotejoy while using xlink so running xsplit would be pointless. |

If you use the adhoctousb plugin you cant use remotejoy lite, the psp type b driver can only use one application at the time. If you use an adapter you can use remotejoy lite without any problems. |

I know, I found that out the hard way with mhp3rd last year.
Also, something that's not so important but has been bugging me, is that on the GUI it says every arena has ? users and ? private arenas, and when using the webUI it says -1 users and -1 private arenas for each arena. Any ideas about this? |

I did think about using my wireless adapter as a substitute for a wifi max but what's show in this thread http://www.teamxlink.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?p=208664#208664 in the third part of the picture, the "PSPXLinkMode" doesn't appear for me, I think it's something to do with differences between the widnows xp and window 7 drivers but I couldn't use compatibility mode to force xp drivers to install. Do you (or anyone) know any way to use a TP-LINK Wireless G USB Adapter (model: TL-WN422G) as an adhoc adapter on windows 7?
If not I'm gonna try the xp drivers again, I might be able to make something work. |

I would download and install "unknown device manager" and lookup what chipset your wifi adapter has and if it is kai compatible or not. |

Ok, well after running the malwarebytes thing I've been using both xlink and bridge without a freeze for a while, not sure if it's fixed, but it also connected me to arizona intead of montreal this time, which fixed the -1 users. |

Nope, couldn't get the xp drivers to install sadly, annoying, not sure why they removed the feature from the driver, I will just continue using the adhoctousb bridge for now and if the freezing keeps up I'll see if I can buy a wifi max.
Although the freezing seems to have stopped for now. |

And it froze again, wasn't even in an arena, just left it running after playing with a friend and my computer just froze, CPU was at 15% and RAM at 2.36gb out of 4gb.
Does it have something to do with me using windows 7 64 bit? |

It wouldn't be a driver, otherwise I'd run into this problem with fusa and remotejoylite...
Could this be caused by multithread?
EDIT: nvm, just tried singlethread and crashed within minutes. |
