It could be that the psp type b driver crashes the system. Install the latest version google for "libusb > WinUSB bridge" download the 1.2.2.0 package. You have to install it via inf file installtion follow this guide here from step 8 to 16--> http://jaxov.com/2010/08/install-libusb-windows-7-vista-64-bit/

Ok, well I don't see anyway of fixing this so I'm just gonna fork out for a wifi max. Thanks for trying to help but I can see that this is a pretty rare occurance as I'm the only one who's posted about it happening to them so it doesn't surprise me that there's no straightforward answer.
The only thing I can think of is reformatting my computer and reinstalling everything, but that isn't an option to me right now.

I did try that, and I know that the type b driver isn't the problem because I ran remotejoy all night, if it was a problem with the type b drivers it would've occurred atleast once during the 8 hours of it running.
