Xlink Config/Loopback/Invisible Users

So, nothing changed, when suddenly I couldn't see my friend in lobbies, but I could read his messages just fine. When going to a lobby, it won't connect us either.

If I hosted, I could see him but he couldn't see me.

Checking xlink, loopback is no longer listed under my winpcap setting. I reinstalled my loopback driver, as well as xlink kai and rebooted my pc. Xlink Kai cannot find Loopback when I select Winpcap, and the bridge cannot find Loopback either.

I can either see people and they can't see me, or they can see me but I can't see them. It says reachable: yes and it lists my PSP as a detected console, but I can't join my friend online anymore. Bridge and Xlink no longer see Loopback. Any ideas?

Does my internet have to be wireless or something?

Have you checked if the loopback is listed in the device manger with or without an exclamation mark http://s7.postimage.org/g4hhv9w61/Untitled.jpg? Whats your Operating System ? Have you used a mac spoofing program for your psp ? If yes this might help--> http://www.teamxlink.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=42661

After several restarts / reinstalls, I can now select Winpcap+loopback, and the bridge finds loopback now. Kai shows reachable yes and finds my PSP, but I still CANNOT see my friend in the Xlink Kai Lobby we made.

Seriously, what gives?

It showed Microsoft Loopback Adapter with no exclamation and it was working fine.

Everything is working fine again, except I can't see my friend now. I'm on Win7 64bit. No mac spoofing done.

When I join the japanese MHP3rd arena, my lobby instantly fills up. When I go to the english area with my friend, I cannot see him, but I can see his text. We cannot get in the same lobby for some reason, probably because I cannot see him.

When I host an arena, he can't see me but I can see him.
When he hosts an arena, I can't see him, but he can see me.

If we close the private arena, we can then see eachother in the same arena, UNTIL one of us goes to another arena and then one of us is invisible to the other. However we still cannot connect through kai when we see eachother, and again making a private arena means one of us can't see the other.

Its a bug/glitch that sometimes happens. Theres nothing wrong on your end.

Okay. Is there any way to fix/get around this issue? We haven't been able to see eachother in lobbies for about an hour now.

Well, it's been roughly 7 hours since this error has occurred, and I still cannot see my friend on the xlink kai players tab when in an arena.

he shows up fine on my friends list... but when I join his arena he won't show up on the right hand side... 7 hours later since it first occurred, and it still won't work. This is frustrating.

How did you and your friend setup kai ? Have you both checked your metrics ?

We setup kai the same way using usb. Identical setups.

If he hosts I still cannot see him, but if I host we can see eachother. Every other time I cannot see him.

Both of our metrics have read reachable: yes and it shows the PSP as a found console, and our bridges work.

The only time we can play together is if I make the arena myself. Every other time I try to play with him, he is invisible. I've also noticed some other users are invisible too when they are in an arena and I join.

I should also mention that the first day and a half, we had zero issues. At all. Could see eachother and play together perfectly, better than the ps3 ad hoc even. But then suddenly I can't see him unless I host an arena myself.

After doing the above and setting it to host, we now cannot see eachother at the same time. Before we could see each other only when I hosted. After switching to Hosting now we cannot see each other when I host or when he hosts. This just made it worse somehow.

This is just stupid me and Aesthetikz cant play together, its not a problem with us its a problem with Xlink Kai, And you guys should really fix it... This is really annoying, some days it works, some days it never can show us, we can only see one, and the other cant see another, this is just stupid, please fix it or tell us what we can do to fix it, cause we have tried just about everything

I should mention the issue is on Xlink Kai UI right now, specifically.

It was working fine the other day. Now we cannot see each other at all on the Xlink Kai UI.

There are also other invisible users that the both of us cannot see.

If he hosts an arena and I join, I cannot see him, but he can see me. Games do not work. If he closes the arena, we can then see each other in the main lobby, say, MHP3rd English, but we cannot see each other in guild halls.

When I host the arena, I see him, he doesn't see me. Same issue. If I close the arena, we can then see each other, but cannot play ingame. When one of us goes to another arena, and the other follows, the one following cannot see the one that entered the arena first. This seems to be strictly an issue with Xlink Kai / UI itself.

*None of this is in reference to our actual PSPs. This is all in Xlink Kai, before we even touch our PSPs.

The devs will look into it. I Cant give you an ETA when a fix or new version of kai will come out. Youre not the only ones suffering from this bug/glitch. So please be patient and bear it for now.

Me and my friends are also running into this problem.
Rarely can we all see eachother without rekaing many many times.
We can see each other in the gathering hall though, and we can see what we all type in chat.
I just joined an arena with supposedly 12 people, can't see anyone.
