i installed it today and tried loading the user interface and configure but all it does is show up for a split second then disappear Confused
when i load the
start user interface it loads and just says searching for kia engine
this is for xbox 360 btw

please help me out and let me know what i need to do im running windows vista btw

Have you tried to run it in winXp compatibility mode as admin--> http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/using-windows-vista-compatibility-mode/

Geekuninstaller didnt do the trick, did you use it ? Have you tried to run kai without any firewalls enabled ?

tried the geek uninstaller then installed the most recent download for xlink and still loads but disappears instantly Sad :@

Do you use the pc with admin rights ? Are you using the webUI or the programUI of Kai ?

-Windows Vista/7: C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\Xlink Kai\KaiUserConfig.txt
-Windows XP: C:\Documents and Settings\%user%\Application Data\Xlink Kai\KaiUserConfig.txt

change the value (kai must be closed)

kaiWebUI=1 to 0 and start kai

there is another to set this up isnt there using win cap how do i do that ?

Download and install winpcap and change the value in the config

i dunno if its something to do with my pc or what but still appears then disappears wtf Sad
would not forwarding the port cause it ? because i didnt know how to do it so i didnt
