Requirements
WindowsXP/Vista/WIndows 7
Administrator privileges
Ethernet cable
PS2, or PS3 backwards compatibility console

Let get started.

First you need to download Xink Kai http://www.teamxlink.co.uk/?go=download

If you have not make a Kai tag yet go make one now http://www.teamxlink.co.uk/?go=register

Bridge Connection Setup

Before we move to the PC bridge connections part you need to do this first.
Plug a Ethernet cord in your PS2 to your PC.
Left click on the Start Menu

Left click on Control Panel

Left click on View network Status and tasks

Left click on Change adapter settings

Highlight Local Area Connection adatpter and the adapter that your pc getting the internet from. After you highlight both right clcik and go down to bridge Connections. (If you don't see Local Area Network try this connect you PS2 to LAN even if it get a disconnection error messgae popup just keep your PS2 on and don't push x.) When you bridge connection it is normal for your PC to get disconnection from the internet for a few seconds.

Static IP

Left click on the Start Menu

Right click on Network bridge and go down to properties. Click on

Scroll down to Internet Protocol Version 4

Click on Internet Protocol Version 4 and click on properties

Change the IP address to a IP that fix in your network. I using Googe DNS you can just copy that, or use what ever DNS server you want. Default geteway is your modem/router IP address. Subnet mask 255.255.255.0 should work.

Port forward

You need to port forward 30000 UDP/TCP. For help with port forwarding please visit the link below.

Look for your router brand name on that page and click on it. Now you need to look for your router model and after you find that you need to look for the Xlink Kai guide.

Xlink Kai installing
Find the location of when XLinkKai-7.4.24-win32.msi is at. (The file you just downloaded) After you find the location double left click it.

Left click run.

Click on next

Check the "I accept the terms in the License Agreement" box and left click next.

Left click install

Wait for it to get done
Image
Left click Finish and you done with the instillation part.

After you installed it
Open up your default internet browser
Left click the Start menu and left click all programs

Scroll down to you see Xlink Kai folder. Left click on the folder and left click on Configure Kai.

Put in your kai username and password. Also check the boxes i got check and left click save.

Now go to when the url is delete config.htm and push enter.

Left click on Game Arenas
Image
Left click on PS2
Image
Scroll down and click on the game you going to be playing

Now you should be able to join games.

Note next time want to run Xlink Kai you can just click on Start Kai, or Start User Interface. If you click on Start Kai you will need to open your default internet browser first.
