Do I need to have my computer running Xlink while I set up my game at the same time? I really want to get back with my friends and continue kicking butts online. I've read that a version 7.3 may only work on the ps2 but not the 7.4 may someone clarify that stuff? I understand that the staffs of Xlink are trying their best to solve and we all really appreciate it. And that if it is possible make a video tutorial or guide for the LAN set up for Socom Combined Assault system Playstation 2......

Not sure what you mean but you need to have Kai running at the same time as your PS2 if you want to play.

Version 7.4 works fine with PS2, many users are using that version and playing on Kai.
