Brief description of your network setup: WIRELESS ROUTER, ETHERNET FROM PS2 TO COMPUTER
Model numbers of the router, and modem? ROUTER IS A BELKIN, F7D6301 V1 MODEM IS A TERAYON, TJ 715X
Do you use a software firewall? What brand? Have you made any changes to it? I can't find any firewalls other than Windows. I turned all of those off. Have no virus protection software.
Operating System? Windows Vista
Problem description? PS2 Socom Combined Assault
It seems I have done everything correctly. I've searched all the forums to try and find something similar to my problem, but can't find one. Everyone in the Game Arena I go to has no idea what's wrong.
I have now gotten to the point where when I sign in and turn on the game, sometimes I can see the 1 game that is up and sometimes I cannot. When I can, I am told by one person they can see my ping but no one else can. I switch orbitals to see if that would work but it doesn't. I switched through them all and cant play.
I have run Kai as an administrator.
I have changed the port in Kai network settings.
I have my Network Adaptor set to my LAN, not my wifi.
I have the ip addresses set to auto on my ps2.
I have gone through every tutorial I can find online as well as the ones listed on your site and still cannot get it to work. If you have any other suggestions of what you think may be wrong they are much appreciated. I feel like I am so close but have maybe just 1 little thing wrong.
