So I'm trying to get my friend's kai to work but the only issue we have is that the console isn't detected in kai.
My friend's using an old PSP 1000 with CFW 6.60 PRO B9. He is trying to get it working with the AdHocToUSB method.
Network is reachable, we have done the port forwarding, static IP, etc. All the other .prx files have been disabled and even deleted entirely (except the AdhocToUSB.prx, ofcourse) from the PSP but still can't get the console to be detected.
He has even reinstalled all the drivers. He used this tutorial: http://www.teamxlink.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=39586 because he has a 64-bit Windows 7. We've done everything we can think of but just can't get it to work.
His bridge looks like this:
He can't see anyone in MHP3rd's gathering hall either. Can there be something wrong with bridge? Maybe it's his CFW? Though I read that this CFW should work with the AdhocToUSB method. I read something about Mac addresses, maybe his PSP's Mac address hasn't been added?
Any help would be very much appreciated! |

So he upgraded his CFW to 6.60 PRO-C fix 3. Bridge doesn't give any errors. His MAC address has also been added here but kai still doesn't detect his PSP. We're at a complete dead end now... Does anyone have any idea what could be wrong?
What are we missing... |

I am having this same issue myself, the weirdest thing here is that it works fine sometimes, then, all of the sudden the bridge.exe does not find the psp anymore...
I tried reinstall all the drivers and such, but did not work at all... |

Weird that it sometimes works for you. Maybe it's your USB cable? |

He did have the adhoctousbv2 for 6.xx and the driver signature disable thing done before. He used the driver signature overrider again just in case and also changed USB auto connect to off in the xmb. And then well... it worked.
Could the USB auto connect really interfere with his console not being detected? Cause I mean, he could've done the overrider thing wrong at first aswell.
I'm just glad we finally figured it out after countless hours of troubleshooting. |
