Is your network reachable? Yes
Are you using a port-forward? Yes
Is your console being detected? No
Brief description of your network setup: Dlink Router 514 (Wireless), hardwired connected xbox to router, hardwire connection to computer, dsl modem..
Do you use a software firewall? What brand? NO
Operating System? WindowsXP Pro + SP2
Problem description? Done everything, registry edits, port forwarding, everything cannot get the system to run no matter what. Can do everything except for detecting the xbox once I am waiting on the game.. MY XBL account has been banned but I do not know how this would affect system link.. I have a modded xbox with XBMC as my dashboard. using xbmc I can connect from the xbox to the kai service but once in the game I see no games.. When in the windows interface cannot find the xbox... Could this be a problem with my MAC address of my xbox?

Yeah possibly. What is the MAC of the XBox? Also, you say you got it detected once when searching for a game.. I don't know if you have been under a rock or not but.. you *NEED* to be searching / hosting a game for the console to become detected by Kai.
http://www.teamxlink.co.uk/?go=quickstart (step 5).
Also, it looks like you're running an older build there as there's a line missing from the config file. Do the whole uninstall, delete folder, re-download, re-install, autoupdate procedure. |

Go into the MS dashboard and check the MAC from there - go into Network Settings (assuming you had it updated via XBox Live).
You can't put a random MAC address in, but it should work if you use ConfigMagic and use either prefix of
00:50:F2 OR 00:0D:3A
then whatever 6 hexidecimal values you want after that. You could always steal someone's MAC from XBC Not like you're gonna play them, so no conflicts goign to happen..
00:50:F2:21:3B:4F <-- there you go just use that (random).. |

Just wanted to say what a nice job you have done.. as a developer I know the amount of work that goes into a project like this and the satisfaction that comes from people using and enjoying it. |
