Is your console being detected? No
Brief description of your network setup: Modem into router, connected to Xbox and PC

Have you checked the routers firewall options ? I suggest just as a test to disable the router firewall and see if kai gets reachable. If thats the case then youll have to tweak your routers firewall settings.

yeah I killed the firewall too to try that, still no go. if it makes any difference, when I check to see if the port is open using any port checker site, it says 30000 is closed, but the port that uTorrent is set to reports as open. If I change the default port in uTorrent to something else, apply, and check that port again, it also reports as open, even if I set it to 30000. What uTorrent does to open that port I have no idea, it's obviously not my routers problem though as I can clearly use websites, my PS3 connects to the internet, uTorrent works just fine, along with everything else. I'm assuming that the port stays locked until it is in use??? When I close uTorrent the port closes again, which is why port 30000 is always closed since Xlink isn't connecting. I am stumped.

It looks to me like youre having two routers wired together or are you just using one device, if yes which one would that be ?
Have you tried to enable upnp on both devices ? Instead of port forwarding you have to do port triggering if you use both devices.
