I have the following system set up.
WRT54G with port 30000 (UDP) redirected to my PC
PC Running Kai XLink connected direct to WRT54G
XBOX running the latest version of XBMC connected direct to the WRT54G
Taking Halo 2 as an example, after choosing an Areana from Kai XLink within XBMC I launch Halo 2, the game
starts and after choosing system link I can join games without a problem.
I have trouble in hosting games, I follow the correct proceedure and create an Areana in Kai XLink
from XBMC but after I launch Halo 2 and create a game no-one ever joins.
I have been told that they can see my game within Kai XLink but are unable to see it within Halo 2.
Am I doing something wrong?
Thanks

See sticky topic Latest CVS and Bugs, need to know which build you're using - recommend you get latest CVS 28th November or later. Newer versions will warn you if there is a network routing problem and also have full debug logging. |

Thanks for the reply.
I am using XBMC 2004-11-15. Its kind of weird as I can manage to host if I don't use XBMC.
Thanks |

Could well be a bug with 11-15; you should check the change log in the sticky topic to see what has been fixed since then. |

I updated to 28-11-04 after it became available in the usual places and now all is working well.
Thanks for your hard work.
