Is your network reachable? No
Are you using a router? Yes
Did you set a static IP on the PC running Kai? Yes
Did you forward port 30000 to the static IP? Yes
Did you click the globe after forwarding to see if your network goes reachable? Yes
What console are you using? PS2
Is your console being detected? Yes, and it says the configured correct as well
Brief description of your network setup: DSL modem hardwired to router, router hardwired to PC, router hardwired to ps2
Model numbers of the router, and modem? Lynksis wrt54g v8, ?
Do you use a software firewall? What brand? Have you made any changes to it? Just using normal windows 7 firewall, turned it off.
Operating System? Windows 7
Problem description? Can't see how many games or players are available, it has question marks beside everything. Also I have to disable windows firewall for Kai to do anything. I also have to run the start Kai(the crappy web based interface) as administrator first then I shut it down then I can run the other Kai program. Also the start Kai gives me a long error having to do with registries. I am not seeing any games in socom 2 under plan but that is prob due to the fact that my network in not yet reachable. Thanks

try using PAT= enabled and choose a different option on network adapter (not autodetect) ..

Ok I finally got into the configuration tool and i enabled PAT and chose a different option under network adapter (there was only one). I also got rid of the error message by deleting the registry file. But the only thing is, that did not help at all. I restarted the computer and put socom 2 into lan looking for games and Kai still says my network in not reachable. Also when I try to launch the web based ui it just has a blue screen. It never loads anything it has the kai load up screen then that goes away and I am left with a blue screen in the window. I somehow got into the configuration tool once but just once and that is when i changed the PAT settings.

If you using Windows 7 64 bit you must have your default internet browser open before you click on Start Kai for it to load right. You also can just manually go to the page by typing http://127.0.0.1:34522 if it still not displaying right.

Did you give it a few minutes to see if you will become reachable?

Guess you can try port 0, but port forwarding normally works better than using port 0.
