Hello everyone, i am new here and for the last few days i have been trying to setup my xbox360 with xlink but i failed.

so here is my setup :

-I have got an ethernet from my xbox360 to my laptop which is wirelessly connected to internet via router. ( my xbox360's wifi card broke down so have to use ethernet).

-In xlink kai's config i have default settings, no change.

-Problem is that when i open Metric, it detects my xbox but the reachable stays to " not yet ". this is the problem. please help me

You need to port forward 30000 in your router but before you try that an easier solution I've found after years of messing around with the config files is the following.

  1. Open the engine if you already haven't
  2. Open the config and change the Kai Port from 30000 to 0
  3. Shut down the engine and then restart it
  4. Next go into Arena Mode and wait 30 seconds, once that time passes open Metrics again and it should hopefully say "Reachable: Yes"

If that doesn't work then you will need to open the port in your router, we will cover that off if the above doesn't work.
