Does your computer have one than one active network adaptor? If so you will need to go to http://127.0.0.1:#34522/config.htm (with XLink Kai running) and change it to the Ethernet one that you have plug in to the same router as the PS3..
Did you manually fill out IP address information? If so double check to make sure it right as wrong IP address will cause it to not work you also need to make you on netmask 255.255.0.0. This is the PS3 network settings not your computer and if you using your PS3 to play a PS2 game you could leave PS3 settings alone as long you have Ethernet connection selected in network settings. Then you will want to check your PS2 network configuration to make sure you have the right settings. Most PS2 games support DHCP so normally not require to set up manual IP. |
