I came across this XLink Kai and see it as a potential to host Timesplitters and Future Perfect Games. I have followed this guide to link my PS2 to the service but trouble is, I don't have a copy of Gran Turismo 4 nor does my host computer run XP.
I have the ip all set up and the subnet mask but I need to understand what the 'Default Router' actually is. Is it the router's gateway address, on its configuration page or is it the host computer's own Default Gateway address?
(I have to resort to this utility instead of GT4's LAN configuration if I want to configure the LAN settings)

Try some of the guides here mate - the GTA guide is pretty out of date:
If you could get yourself a copy of SOCOM 2 or 3, you'd have a much better chance of checking you've set it up correctly as there is a hardcore bunch of players that play it day and night!
