my friend who has a computer using a wireless usb adapter connectiong it to his xbox using a cross over can never get his kai 007 to work (it worked for kai 006 and xbc) And reading from the FAQ page i discovered this
* Wireless connections from the PC running XLink Kai are not supported. There are many incompatibility issues in this setup and most wireless hardware will refuse to work with MAC address translations. Therefore we recommend that the PC running XLink Kai remains wired (to the router or access point) with a CAT-5 Ethernet cable. However, your console can be wirelessly connected, through the use of a Wireless Gaming Adapter or Wireless Ethernet Bridge. Consult your documentation or manufacturer's website for assistance in wireless networking.
will kai 007 ever support wirelss connection?? |

My computer is connected to the internet via WLAN (connected to a wireless router) and my xbox is connected to my PC with a crossover-cable. Never had any problems, everything runs like it should... So guess I'm lucky? Never realised this could be a problem or anything... |

It has a real cheap dodgy box with not much info or a model number or anything.

you're absolutely right, i should get another one, preferebly more expensive, which looks better but most importantly doesnt work with xlink  |
