avatar not showing in xbmc

hi, i have the 11-29 cvs and in xbmc it won`t show my avatar. if i stay on someone that has 1 for like 5 seconds theres shows up but mine doesn`t show up in the top right corner. i left it running for awhile and it still hasn`t shown up. everything else works. does anyone have any suggestions? thanks

did you set your username/password in the Kai settings in xbmc - the avatar that's pulled down will match whatever you entered here. once you enter the info, best to back out of the xbmc settings and reboot xbmc (avatar only pulled down on initial connection).

yep. i logged in my username and password. i even tried shutting down the kai engine and my xbox and it still won`t show. thanks for the reply. i`ll keep fooling around with it and let you know if i get it to work

actully i've had the same problem, dunno why... nice if it works, but nothing i really need. i like all the other features better - this is just a appearence feature. Laughing

Have you checked that the skin you're running is up to date?

yeah, i know im using the newest PG II skin. either way i dont care that much.

um... dbldown768 it doesn't show your avatar on the forum either, you sure you added one?

yeah, i did. my kai name is different has a '0' at the end of it.

i ended up with 2 names, because at the time i registered, a while back ago, the system never sent me back and email for conformation, so i registered at a different email as well. I use the other kai name since it matches my XBL tag.

Your avatar URL has a get param in it (the ? bit) .. you'll have to ask runtime, but I know this used to screw up win32 kaiUI ..

thanks thedaddy. even know i don`t know what that means(lol) maybe i`ll try a diff avatar. i used the kai 1 to add my avatar

hey i got my avatar to finally show. i was using the pm 2 skin from a couple weeks ago. i updated to the 11-29 pm2 skin and now my avatar is displayed. thanks everyone for the help, and if anyone else is having this problem try updating to the new skin, then shutdown the kai engine and restart it. if you don`t the arenas won`t show up until you do

Changing skins = reboot mandatory IMO.

I'm also having problem with this feature, but my version of xbmc is 2005-03-18 and with the Project Mayhem III skin..... Crying or Very sad

Should I see my avatar in the win UI of xlink kai also? Because I don't...
